Mission Statement:

Helping children and families in need to visualize and manifest their dreams.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to teach our participants that their current life circumstances do not need to define their future; that it is possible to reach for and attain a better life. Our primary objective is to teach self-empowerment tools and skills that will help our students to chart their
goals & success roadmaps, to attract more abundance, feel more joy and ultimately realize their full potential to manifest their dreams.

La Mission de Joie (Mission of Joy)

La Mission de Joie (Mission of Joy) is an international non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching and mentoring children, single mothers and their families in less affluent countries. As the Founder and President of La Mission de Joie, it is my intention and life purpose to help by teaching skills which will help others to attract more success and abundance and to ultimately manifest their dreams. My own history of being orphaned and adopted into a loving family has imbued me with the desire to be an ambassador to those in need and share my own personal story and learnings. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and my Korean name was Park Yung Hee. I was orphaned at age three and sent by the orphanage in Seoul to my new family in New Jersey in 1970 who named me Joy, for the joy I was bringing to them.  It is my experience and belief that everyone has the power within themselves to transform their lives and may just require some guidance to access their inherent gifts- just as I have done.

At La Mission de Joie, we help make kids dreams come true. We teach a highly creative after-school-mentorship program that focuses on personal development and the law of attraction. We help students develop their self-confidence, communication skills, positive thinking, self-empowerment, & gratitude.

Mongolia ~Dream School
Joy Training Center Project

  •  La Mission de Joie launched its initial two locations in Mongolia in October 2018 in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia serving the “Ger” areas (urban city) and the countryside
  •  The training centers operate under the name of Joy Training Center in Mongolia offering a mentorship program daily which teaches a highly creative personal development curriculum.
  •  Our mentorship program helps our students visualize and realize their goals and dreams.
  • Each class is taught in a flexible artistic classroom style that promotes creativity and imagination to help motivate and inspire; i.e. acrylic white board walls, blackboard walls to write on, felt board walls to hang their dream boards, & projects. 50% of the time in each class is dedicated to a highly creative participatory workshop for the students to engage their imagination and maximize their learning experience through extremely innovative exercises that are fun and expanding for the students.
  • Joy Training Center Program Curriculum: We teach a 7 course Curriculum that coincide with the school semesters.
  • Classes are taught 5 days per week.
  • Learning Center: A learning center is part of JOY Training Center which includes computer, printer, wifi for the students to come and study, do homework, and be mentored.
  • Snacks & Special Celebration Parties: JOY Training Center provides after-school snacks & refreshments for the students and also hosts special holiday and celebration parties for the students as well as all school supplies free of charge.
  • Teachers: Each class is taught by 2 teachers/mentors (Staff of JOY Training Center) and also visiting volunteer mentor teachers occasionally drop in to teach a class offering a particular subject of expertise to teach the students.  Joy also personally comes to Mongolia to teach classes for months at a time (usually the fall and spring semesters).
  • Joy Training Center “In high school” Teaching Programs: 1-2 days per week, our classes are taught directly in the “Ger” high schools in order to expand our reach and facilitate logistics for our students.
  • A Summer Camp Program is offered to our students as an extension of our program.
  •  JOY Training Center Program Cost: There is no cost for students to attend or participate in the JOY Training Center program or any of the activities hosted by the training center. Everything is provided free of charge to the students.
  •  Note: The Target Age group of the students is 12-16 Years old since this is the critical age that the students are at risk of dropping out of school in Mongolia and are in dire need of paving their roadmap for success.  Exceptions are made to this (as we review the needs of specific students’ situations).

    Why Is the Mission Important?

The source of all universal creation is pure consciousness and energy which is meant to be fully expressed and manifested to its full potential. We are all born with the God-given right to live to our full potential as well as to pursue our dreams/desires and experience joy and love. Simply because someone may be born into less fortunate circumstances does not mean they should be limited in their ability to experience joy, love, and realize their full potential. These powerful visualization tools and personal development skills will help to empower this demographic so that they have the ability and tools to overcome their challenges and manifest their desires.

Why Do We Want To Teach This?

Nothing of value is meant to be kept or hoarded for oneself. This is a universal principle that the ancient sages and philosophers understood well. It is a universal law that you must give and receive in order to keep abundance circulating in life. In fact, the universal flow of wealth (be it information, wisdom, money, gold, love, food, etc), is meant to be exchanged, in order for it to flourish. This is the true meaning of money or currency (the root is “currire “to flow” "condition of flowing," from Latin currens, present participle of currere "to run" … "circulation of money.") It is our social responsibility to keep abundance flowing in the universe and to share wealth, knowledge, and wisdom.

The Objectives/What this Mission Will Accomplish?
To teach powerful, universal and proven visualization tools that will enable children orphans/single mothers/families in need to:

    • Identify and cultivate their passions/talents/gifts in order to develop to their fullest potential in order to manifest their dreams
    • Transcend their current circumstances/transform their lives
    • Learn the power of imagination and the mind as the greatest tool; using the imagination as their prep school.
    • Build students’ self-esteem, self-empowerment, and positive thinking
    • Learn to communicate more effectively
    • Learn to set goals & make their own Success Roadmaps
    • Deepen the practice of gratitude as the key to attract more abundance
    • Develop an Alumni program among the participants to serve as a resource & inspiration to their fellow students
